Michael Lugering Workshops 2007 : 2007

Following a very successful tour in 2006 we are letting Michael loose for a second time in the UK . In November 2007 Laura went to Las Vegas and trained as one of Michael's associate teachers at the university in Las Vegas . The aim is to build up a London group for The Expressive Actor work here in London starting with a workshop on the 18 th March. This will then be followed by a workshop with Michael at the end of may.

Michael Lugering is a master teacher of voice, movement and acting based in Las Vegas . He has spent over 15 years researching the physical, psychological, behavioural and aesthetic aspects of human expression. The Lugering Method marks a revolutionary departure from traditional methods of actor training. In this truly integrated technique, the voice and the body, thought and feeling, sound and movement, psyche and soma are synthesized in the practical exploration of expressive action. After running several highly successful training intensives in New York, and years of classes in Las Vegas Michael first brought Expressive Actor intensives to the UK in 2006 when he travelled the UK for 3 weeks in collaboration with SULIS PRODUCTIONS where he took classes at the 4 Actors Centres in the UK – London, Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle. His book – The Expressive Actor is now on the shelves, published by Heineman Press. It is now available on Amazon.com.
